Freelance Production Artist/Photo Retoucher
Bluefly.com, a leading online outlet for designer fashion and home furnishings, has a position available for a Freelance Production Artist and Photo Retoucher to work a flexible schedule based on Bluefly business needs. This is a terrific opportunity to work in an exciting Internet environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing / retouching / resizing digital images from our in-house studio
Daily uploading of recently processed images to server
Overall maintenance of photo consistency on web site
Storage of all images
Experience/Skills:
BA Degree
2-5 years of work experience in color correction and photo retouching.
Advanced working knowledge of Photoshop and Camera RAW processing.
Understanding of Photoshop action sets, image resolution, color space and image file formats.
Skilled in cloning and blemish removal, color correction, path creation, layers and masking.
Proficiency in Mac operating system a plus.
Internet and/or retail experience a plus.
The ability to produce independently and to work within a team environment and offer support and troubleshooting as a team member.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and aggressive deadlines while working in fun, fast-paced environment.
High level of attention to detail.
Self-starter attitude.
Other computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Word and database programs a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
