Job Description Responsibilities
Management Skills
§ Oversee the monitoring of the corporate office’s Loss Prevention activities (both 770 and 2 Penn Plaza).
§ Administrative scheduling, department policies and procedures.
§ Oversee associate card access, CCTV and alarm systems for efficient and effective operation.
§ Maintain and update records of outside contractors that are on the premises daily ( e.g. cleaners, mailroom clerks, etc.).
§ Oversee the office fire/safety programs, including evacuation procedures, fire code compliance, etc.
Interpersonal Skills
§ Liaison between loss prevention and other departments on associate and loss prevention issues.
Communication Skills
§ Communicate with building manager and staff on various building facility, security and safety issues.
§ Effectively communicate both verbally and through written communication within the department and, at times, with the entire corporate office.
Qualifications
Organizational Skills
§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be public relations friendly.
§ Must be licensed by the State of New Yorkas a security guard.
§ Position requires well organized individual that is disciplined and has the ability to handle many projects simultaneously.
Financial Accountability
§ Knowledge of budget/financial responsibilities.
