Job Description
Location: Montreal Head Office
Qualifications: Work closely with the concept / design team in the definition of the collections for every season.
Provide assistance in the development of new product and ensure that proto samples and salesmen samples for each season are made with correct details and specifications.
Responsible of the development of our supplier?s network searching potential vendors in different areas of the world that have the capacity to meet the Parasuco quality standards and target costs in order to improve the profitability considering licenses and quota restriction.
Work closely with vendors to research new fabrics, washes and finishes leading to effective product development.
Negotiate FOB prices to meet target costs, minimums to buy and acceptable production lead times.
Work closely with the technical team to develop size specs and all tech packs for the vendors within timelines to facilitate the production and to ensure the conformity of products to the Parasuco quality standards.
Responsible for supervising the issuance of all sample development purchase orders.
Coordinate with vendors the production of salesmen samples and pre-production samples making sure vendors have all necessary information.
Provide assistance in the process of line sheets creation ensuring that proper information is provided.
Participate to the overall evaluation of samples received in terms of quality and fit.
Communicate efficiently with overseas agents and/or vendors in regards to standards, quality requirements / issues.
Communicate to the SOS dept and Traffic dept all necessary information for styles creation and source orders creation.
Responsabilities: Passionate for fashion you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant and successful experience in sourcing production. You have an EYE for quality and possess logic of numbers. Proficient in Excel, you have a proven track record of costing negotiation.
You are known for your professionalism, your communication skills and being a great team player. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can easily adapt to the demanding schedules of the industry.
