Job Description
Our Creative department is looking for a Graphic Designer to support our Men's Hardgoods products. This individual will work with the Creative team to design and apply graphics for all Hardgood products, including boots, bindings, boards, Red, and Anon. You will aid in the design process and help the creative team to deliver concept, content and design solutions that provides trend-right, consistent, differentiated and/or exclusive product to support objectives. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Responsible for preparing mechanicals for production, changes in existing art per manager request, and other factors that effect hardgoods production.
• Responsible for keeping project files in order and up-to-date
• Design and/or application of Prints, patterns and Logos for all hardgoods products.
• Works with hardgoods creative team and softgoods to create, manage and maintain the hardgoods color palette and co-development direction.
• Uses Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create art and Illustrations for any hardgoods product.
• Creates PowerPoint presentations for director to present designs at Sales Summits, conferences, etc.
• Research and develop seasonal trends, themes, concepts, colors, fabric and styling in keeping with our brand character.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's in Graphic Design and 2+ years of experience. Must be familiar with graphic design concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat as well as Outlook, Excel and Word. A strong grasp of current trends and styles in the sports and fashion industry preferred.
