Job Description MARKETING MANAGER, SEPHORA INSIDE JCPENNEY Bay Area Candidates Only POSITION SUMMARY Oversee all marketing programs, irrespective of buying channel, for the SEPHORA inside JCPenney (SiJCP) initiative. Marketing programs include, but are not limited to: new store openings, on going store programs, in store events, on line programs and emails. RESPONSIBILITIES · Ensure the SiJCP marketing programs are consistent with Sephora’s branding. · Determine appropriate marketing exposure for online and for stores (store openings and on going efforts) from a local, regional and national level. · Ensure marketing programs selected are within financial and budgetary commitments. · Understand JCPenney’s marketing campaigns and determine appropriate involvement for Sephora. · Promote SiJCP brand awareness. · Manage the program collateral and processes on an ongoing basis. · Review and analyze program results. Recommend action as needed to improve the program. · Proactively suggest program improvements and innovation. · Analyze client information and partner with marketing teams on client marketing opportunities and strategies. · Lead SiJCP brand perception research studies. · Manage one direct report that is responsible for the design of all marketing program materials. REQUIREMENTS · 4 year Bachelors degree in marketing, business or a related field. · 3-5 years previous experience in online marketing. · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Ability to work and lead cross functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively. · Exemplary analysis and problem solving resolution at both a strategic and tactical level · High level of initiative, able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast paced environment. · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment. · Very proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience Required 3 plus years exp.
