Job Description We offer:
The successful candidate will be a member of the PUMA North America apparel design team.
* Design and develop the graphic language for four seasonal product lines per year.
* Work closely with international graphic design team to incorporate global graphic direction into the PUMA North America range.
* Partner with World Cat sourcing offices and developers in research of new graphic techniques and applications. Develop thorough understanding of the capabilities, flexibility and limitations of source base.
* Create and execute graphics that are brand, channel and account appropriate and meet the needed cost and margin requirements.
* Partner in the design and execution of key account SMU graphic needs.
* Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of artwork pages, CADS, and tech packages based on design time and action calendar.
We expect:
* 3+ years experience in a graphic design position for an apparel company.
* Advanced skill level in Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
* Proficient at creating artwork pages, separations, and repeats.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages at the same time.
* Education: College degree preferred.
* Strong knowledge of apparel market and trends.
* Understanding of sports heritage inspired design direction a plus.
* Ability to effectively use Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office applications.
* Requires domestic and international travel.
