Job Details: Loss Prevention XBR Investigator
GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE Analyze Loss Prevention XBR pos exception reporting data for possible fraud, policy, violations, and/or training opportunities. Investigate the results of the analysis and when appropriate conduct phone or in person integrity interviews. Communicate findings to respective Loss Prevention or Operations Field personnel for investigation when in person handling is necessary. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions) Create and manage system ad hoc reports and control point summaries Complete thorough data mining retrieval of information not meeting normal business activity Monitor and report on Loss Prevention field personnel’s follow-up on reports sent to field. Complete investigations including employee interviews when appropriate. Communicate certain designated information direct to District Sales Managers for handling and monitor and report on their follow-through. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Must have ability to communicate information both orally and in writing in a concise, detailed, and accurate fashion. Must have the ability to compile information from multiple data systems in a logical sequence of information Must have experience with employee integrity interviewing SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Expert level of PC software skills including word and excel. Prior experience with POS exception reporting systems Loss Prevention investigation and interviewing experience. Wicklander & Zulawski interview training College degree or equivalent retail experience WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office demands plus some nights and weekends. Must be able to travel out-of-town occasionally to attend training sessions and users conferences.
