GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE The Manager of Product Knowledge and Selling Skills works in partnership with the Merchants, Vendors and Operators to identify, design, and manage product knowledge and selling skills training programs. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions) Identifies training opportunities and communicates need and ROI to executive teams Develops strategy for Product Knowledge and Selling Skills education in partnership with Director of Training Services Determines opportunities to leverage technology in the training process Effectively communicates training strategy to all Corporate partners. Communicates training strategy to vendor education teams. Closely manages vendor relationships. Works closely with merchants and operators on training strategy for new brands and product lines. Oversee development and growth of direct reports JOB SPECIFICATIONS 5-7 years experience in Retail Management 3+ years experience in the beauty industry Familiarity with color and skincare application Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent Time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimal Travel required WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office demands
