Job Description We are seeking Assistant Buyers who will be an important part of our team to help us provide distinctive, creative and modern home decor items to our customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Perform market analysis & sales analysis
* Responsible for purchase orders, delivery dates and order tracking
* Ensure all goods are received in a timely matter & in required condition
* Identify home decor trends and recommend new products and business opportunities
* Assist with website layouts and & features
* Support Customer Service Team to resolve product related issues
* Opportunities to become a merchandise buyer, depending on performance
Requirements:
* Passion for home decor and understanding what online consumers want
* Motivation to learn in a fast paced, challenging Internet atmosphere
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong written & verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks
* Internet-savvy with excellent Internet research skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
Qualifications:
* Minimum of one (1) year related experience
* Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree required
