Job Description Buyer Assistant:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Perform market analysis & analyze sales to keep up to date with current trends
* Assist buyer with purchase quantities, delivery dates, and tracking of orders
* Ensure all goods are received in a timely matter
* Identify market trends and recommend new products and/or business opportunities
* Recommend new layouts for website banners & features
* Ability to handle and resolve customer service issues
* Assist in other projects as needed, including back-up work within the department
Requirements:
* Attention to detail
* Strong written & verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
* Ability to work in a team as well as alone
* Ability to manage organizational and administrative tasks
* Strong ability to multi-task & ability to effectively prioritize
* Excellent typing speed and accuracy
* Ability to learn quickly
* Strong understanding of the Internet
* Internet research experience & strong research skills
* BA/BS required
* Strong desire to learn & grow in a fast paced atmosphere.
* Enjoy working with people
* Fun, outgoing, and creative
